Warung Deva & Deva Transport

Hidden little gem. Food was brilliant! So good we wanted to do the cooking class (teacher is currently sick but is on the list for the next visit). We shared the chicken Curry and the Nasi Goreng. Both dishes beautiful, prepared to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy and not a bit over cooked. We will be returning before we leave!

The best Balinese food we’ve experienced so far!!! We ventured here based on the reviews, pictures & wide menu choices. We were not disappointed! We were welcomed with very friendly faces & locals that were so grateful for us coming & supporting them. I had a fresh orange juice & my fiancé had a cocktail- so good! We also had some crispy tempeh & the best vegetable spring rolls I’ve ever tasted for starter. For mains I had the chicken with pineapple & honey & my fiancé had chicken satay skewers- his favourite part was the homemade peanut sauce. The food was outstanding, made with care & really generous portions for an unbelievable price. We hope to be back before we leave Sidemen, thank you for having us

Delicious food! Great service. Good vibes. If you like spicy food, order anything and ask for them to add sambal. Love the garden atmosphere and rice terrace view. Would eat here every day if I could!

From my very first meal to my last, this charming spot proved itself the best warung in the area. The owner, a chef whose passion is palpably infused into every dish, is best known for his signature chicken beruk. It glistens with flavor—fresh, perfectly cooked, and absolutely bursting with local authenticity. Each presentation is vibrant and artful—truly remarkable for a warung. One delightful surprise? With every cocktail, they serve freshly roasted crunchy peanuts—such a thoughtful, flavorful touch. It’s these small but memorable details that elevate an already standout experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—humble yet unmistakably caring. Their presentation is top-notch, the flavors are bold and true, and each dish feels lovingly prepared. Without a doubt, this is the best warung Sidemen has to offer.

I did the 5 course cooking class with the lovely Wayan. It was such a special experience and Wayan is very detailed in her instructions and information about the local food and produce. I even learned how to flip a pancake and it didn’t end up on the floor! The food I learned to cook was so delicious and varied. Can’t wait to try my new skills at home. I highly recommend this class if you want to learn some traditional Balinese recipes, which Wayan will send to you. Thank you Wayan for such a great experience.

The food and the price/quality is amazing! I ordered tempeh almost every day on my 10 days trip in Indonesia and I can definitely say here I had the best one (starter and main dish). The staff is really nice and the place very relaxing

Such a lovely experience cooking vegetarian menu today at Warung Deva! We started at 5pm and they received us with a lovely lemongrass tea. We then started cooking lovely Balinese food with the chef who is so nice and explains so much!! After around 2 hours learning and chopping, we tried the best food we’ve had so far in Bali! An experience I won’t ever forget, such a relaxing and especial evening.
